Another thing I will never understand about England is why it is exactly those very ecologically conscious people in their outdoor-proof GoreTex outfits and plant-dyed linnen clothes, shopping for organic-only food at Waitrose (a very posh supermarket) who drive their kids to school in those four-wheel drive jeeps and other off-road-style cars. IN THE CITY!?! .. Go use your bicycles if you care about an ecologically balanced world!!!
