Cotton Records and Bushmills proudly invite you to join the first ParkLive Festival under the night sky of Sofia.

For three days in a row the capital of Bulgaria will be hosting world famous artists at the most anticipated open-air event this summer. Tricky, Roots Manuva, Gilles Peterson, Lamb, FSOL, Plaid, Luke Vibert, Little Dragon and the Karandila Orchestra form a stunning line-up that will bring the city to a boil from June 18th to June 20th.

Musicians, performers and festival-goers from all over the world will come together to share three days of quality music and eclectic vibes. An event of such magnitude deserves a matching venue - the cycling track field in the main park of Sofia, amidst lush greenery, cool evening air and bird twitter, will turn into a bubbling playground for music experimentalism and plain old fun.

Independent music label Cotton Records is excited to present trip hop pioneer Tricky as the opening headliner of the festival. Manchester duo Lamb will join us for a live act just before their Glastonbury appearance. Ninja Tune’s finest hip hop virtuoso Rodney Smith, aka Roots Manuva will come on stage after Bulgarian gypsy folk and jazz legends the Karandila Orchestra and their youth squad. A set by  DJ Lord of titans Public Enemy will follow on the same night. Gaz Cobain of Future Sound Of London will play at ParkLive Fest for the first time after ten years of the band’s absence. WARP Records’ artists Plaid and Luke Vibert are expected anxiously by long-time electronic fans on the main stage. We also have Pilooski’s set, Britsh favorites Crazy P Soundsystem and rising Swedish electro-soul band Little Dragon.

Once the concerts for the day are through, we urge you to stick around with the stars and join us at the afterparties. Bring your dancing shoes to the ParkLive afterparties as British beat-makers 4hero and French eccentrics Nôze will take you over to Sofia’s most popular good-times club Yalta. As if this were not enough, Gilles Peterson will be spinning a DJ set, too. Last but not least, are bound to make ParkLive a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of sound and magic.
